Day 1 
HANOI – KENH GA – HOA LU – NINH BINH
Drive to Kenh Ga, a secluded floating village with a dramatic landscape of limestone cliffs and caves. Explore by boat scenes of fishermen, children going to school and everyday life along the riverfront. Afternoon proceed to Ninh Binh, stopping en route at Hoa Lu. OVERNIGHT IN NINH BINH.

Day 2 
NINH BINH – THUNG NANG CYCLING – WATER PUPPET – HAI PHONG
Enjoy Thung Nang’s pleasant mountain scenery by boat and bicycle. Afternoon discover the birthplace of Vietnamese water puppetry followed by a performance and fly lanterns for good luck before proceeding to Hai Phong. OVERNIGHT IN HAI PHONG. [Breakfast]

Day 3 
HAI PHONG – HA LONG BAY
Drive to Ha Long Bay and explore from a refurbished wooden junk. Overnight on board. OVERNIGHT ON JUNK. [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner]

Day 4 
HA LONG BAY - BOAT CRUISE - HANOI
Continue cruising through Ha Long Bay’s lagoons, beaches and caves. Return to Hanoi via Dong Trieu ceramic village in the afternoon. [Breakfast, Lunch]
